Your privacy is very important to us and My Gift Registry will always act to protect your information. My Gift Registry takes this responsibility seriously and is very careful about how and when your personal information is collected, used and shared.

The personal information we collect is in most cases supplied directly by you when you give us your details, send us instructions (i.e via email) or provide feedback to us.

The type of service or interaction you wish to receive will determine the specific type of information we need to collect. This may include the following: Name, address, phone and other contact details (fax, email etc), and billing information (purchases, orders etc), and method of payment.

We collect information for a number of reasons including to:

How we collect this information

We collect information in a number of ways including:

• When you signup to our service (either a trial, promotion or full fee account)
• When you register your details with us to receive our eNewsletter or give us information/instructions
• If you meet one of our staff members and you express interest in our company / service - we may follow up on this and may add you to our database.
• From time to time My Gift Registry may sponsor certain events or organisations. If appropriate and complies with this policy and relevant event / organisation privacy policy we may use data collected by this event organiser / organisation for use in our marketing.
• Sometimes, we may add to your personal information additional information from external sources. This is mainly done to verify the accuracy of the information we have and, again, to personalise and improve our service

Who we share your information with

My Gift Registry does not sell your personal information to other parties. However, we will often need to pass personal details such as your name and address to companies who perform parts of our service delivery. This includes organisations such as service providers (i.e ISP's, Payment Gateway Providers etc), mail houses and third party contractors. In these circumstances, My Gift Registry will ensure that these third parties undertake to protect your privacy.

If you would like to access your personal information, please write to us at PO Box 9278 Gold Coast MC 9726. We may request this in writting to confirm your identity. Please note My Gift Registry may charge a reasonable fee to access this information.

Electronic Advertising

My Gift Registry may from time to time use imbedded images, files or cookies to help manage and track our electronic advertising (including Online, Email and SMS).

From time to time and in line with customer expectations and legislative changes, our privacy policies and procedures will be reviewed and, if appropriate, updated.
